The Westport Education Foundation raises funds through contributions from residents, businesses and corporate enterprises who recognize that excellence in public education is essential to the social and economic fabric of our community.

 

The foundation maintains a close partnership with the school administration. Our board is composed of educators and those who support education. We are keen to discuss and evaluate supplemental funding needs submitted by teachers and administrators.




The Westport Education Foundation acts as a catalyst for expanding student opportunities and empowers educators to augment both teaching and learning in all grades of the Westport Community Schools. 

 

Grants are awarded directly to educators with the support of their administrators. Our goal is that WEF grants facilitate opportunities for students to engage more fully in their coursework, try new things, build lifelong skills and take on more active roles in their community.
