Dear Friends of WEF,

​

As we look forward to the new year and reflect on the past, we are grateful for all of the support that our donors have given us over the years. Your contributions have enabled us to fund in full or partially various programs, drama productions and classes in the Westport School District. Through a grant process, WEF awards resources to expose students to important concepts and experiences “beyond the standard curriculum” and we look to support teacher and advisor initiates not otherwise covered by the district.

Additionally, WEF continues to provide scholarships to graduating seniors. This year we are honored to take over management of The Westport Lions Club scholarships. Our Board is committed to keeping the memory of these individuals and family legacy alive. Each year we award the following.

• The Lydia Pool Barker Art Scholarship

• The Prudence & Ernest Chadwick Memorial Scholarship

• The Harold S. Wood Memorial Scholarship

• The Rush Workman/ Frank and Brooke McGuigan Memorial Scholarship

 

We have already begun our work this year with contributions to The Beetlejuice- Drama Club, The Wildcat Newspaper and a New Electric Boat Program. We need your help to continue. Please consider donating to our Foundation this year.

 

WEF is a volunteer driven 501 (c)(3) organization registered with the Attorney General Office.

Donations are tax deductible and can be made in the following ways:

1. By check and please mail to the Westport Education Foundation, Inc at PO Box 3213, Westport, Ma 02790. 

2. Through this site. There is a donate now link on the home page that uses pay pal.
